Welcome to TechCube. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the TechCube website and to purchases made through our online store at shop.techcube.co.uk.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Use of This Website
By using this website, you confirm that:
- You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
- The information you provide when placing an order is accurate and complete.
- You will use the website only for lawful purposes.
- You will not attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the website.
- You will not use the website to place fraudulent, unauthorised or misleading orders.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity, unauthorised payment, misuse of the website or other unlawful activity.
3. Products and Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications and prices displayed on our website are accurate and up to date.
However:
- Product images are for illustration purposes and may vary slightly from the actual product.
- Manufacturers may change product specifications, packaging or components without prior notice.
- Product availability may change without notice.
- Minor differences in colour, appearance or packaging do not necessarily constitute a product defect.
- Where a manufacturer’s specification conflicts with information previously displayed on our website, the manufacturer’s current specification may apply.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
4. Prices
All prices displayed on the website are shown in British Pounds Sterling (£).
Where applicable, VAT and other mandatory charges will be displayed as part of the purchase price or clearly identified before you complete your order.
We reserve the right to change product prices at any time. However, a price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted, except where the order has been affected by an obvious pricing error.
Pricing Errors
If we discover that a product has been advertised at an obviously incorrect price due to a technical or human error, we may contact you before dispatch.
You will have the option to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel the order and receive a full refund.
5. Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected by you.
After placing an order, you will normally receive an order acknowledgement by email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
A contract between you and TechCube will be formed when we confirm acceptance of your order or dispatch the goods, whichever occurs earlier, unless we notify you otherwise.
We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order, including where:
- A product is unavailable.
- There is an obvious pricing or product description error.
- Payment cannot be authorised.
- We suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
- We are unable to deliver to the address provided.
- There has been a significant technical error affecting the order.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will arrange a refund of the amount paid.
6. Payment
We accept the payment methods displayed during checkout.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed and dispatched.
We may use third-party payment providers to process payments securely. Your payment information may therefore be processed directly by the relevant payment provider under that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.
Klarna
Where Klarna is offered as a payment option at checkout, you may be able to pay for your purchase using one of the payment options made available to you by Klarna.
Klarna payment options are subject to Klarna’s eligibility assessment, approval and separate terms and conditions. The payment options available to you may vary depending on factors such as your order value, location and Klarna’s assessment.
TechCube does not control Klarna’s approval decisions, credit assessment, payment schedules, fees or interest rates.
If you choose Klarna, you will enter into the applicable payment arrangement with Klarna in addition to your purchase contract with TechCube. You should review Klarna’s terms and conditions carefully before completing your purchase.
Your obligation to pay TechCube for the purchased goods is governed by these Terms & Conditions, while your payment arrangement with Klarna is governed by your agreement with Klarna.
If an order paid using Klarna is cancelled or refunded by TechCube, we will process the refund through the applicable payment process. The timing of any adjustment to your Klarna payment schedule may depend on Klarna.
7. Order Security and Payment Verification
For fraud prevention and payment security, we may carry out reasonable verification checks on orders.
We may request additional information where necessary to verify an order or payment.
If we cannot reasonably verify an order, we may cancel it and refund any payment already taken.
8. Delivery
We currently offer delivery services as described during checkout.
The available delivery options, delivery charges and estimated delivery times will be displayed before you complete your order.
Where applicable, TechCube advertises free delivery within London.
Orders placed before the stated daily cut-off may qualify for same-day dispatch, subject to stock availability, payment authorisation, delivery location and any applicable service limitations.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless we have expressly agreed a guaranteed delivery date with you.
If there is an unexpected delay, we will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed.
If goods are delivered damaged, you should contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide details and, where appropriate, photographs of the damage.
9. Delivery Address
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact information.
TechCube cannot be held responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
If a delivery cannot be completed because the customer provided incorrect information or was unavailable to receive the goods, additional delivery charges may apply where permitted by law.
10. Risk and Ownership
Risk in the products will pass to you when the products come into your physical possession or the possession of a person identified by you to receive them, other than the carrier.
Ownership of the products will pass to you once TechCube has received full payment for the products and any applicable delivery charges.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
11. Returns and Right to Cancel
We currently advertise a 30-day returns policy, subject to the conditions set out below.
In addition to our voluntary 30-day returns policy, consumers may have statutory cancellation rights under UK consumer law.
For most goods purchased online, consumers generally have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days from the day after the goods come into their physical possession, without having to provide a reason.
You must then return the goods within the applicable period following cancellation.
How to Cancel
To exercise your cancellation right, contact us using:
Email: info@techcube.co.uk
Telephone: +44 (0) 20 7946 0958
Please provide:
- Your name
- Order number
- Products being returned
- Date of purchase
- Your request to cancel/return the order
You may use your own wording to notify us. A formal cancellation form is not required provided your communication clearly states that you wish to cancel the contract.
12. Condition of Returned Products
To protect your statutory rights, you may handle goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality.
However, if products are handled beyond what would reasonably be permitted in a shop and their value is reduced as a result, we may be entitled to recover the amount of that reduction where permitted by law.
Where possible, products should be returned:
- In their original packaging;
- With all accessories and components;
- With manuals and documentation;
- In a clean and resalable condition.
This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.
13. Return Delivery Costs
Unless the product is faulty, incorrect or not as described, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning goods where applicable.
Where we have supplied a faulty, damaged or incorrect product, we will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
14. Refunds
Once a valid cancellation or return has been accepted, we will process the applicable refund in accordance with UK consumer law.
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, refunds will generally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed with you.
Where required by law, refunds will be made within the applicable statutory timeframe.
Original standard delivery charges may be refundable where required by law. Any additional amount paid for an enhanced delivery service may not be refundable where permitted by law.
For payments made through Klarna or another third-party payment provider, the refund will be processed through the relevant payment system. The time taken for the refund or adjustment to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider.
15. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, defective, incorrectly supplied or does not conform to the contract, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, this may include:
- Repair;
- Replacement;
- Refund;
- Price reduction; or
- Another appropriate remedy.
You do not lose your statutory consumer rights by using our returns procedure.
16. Warranty
TechCube currently advertises a 2-year warranty on products, including coverage described on the website as covering parts, labour and on-site support.
The exact warranty coverage may vary depending on the product, manufacturer and applicable warranty terms.
The warranty does not normally cover damage caused by:
- Misuse;
- Accidental damage;
- Neglect;
- Improper installation or use;
- Unauthorised modification;
- Incorrect electrical supply;
- Damage caused by external factors;
- Normal wear and tear where applicable; or
- Failure to follow manufacturer instructions.
Warranty terms do not limit or replace your statutory consumer rights.
17. Installation Services
Where TechCube provides installation or configuration services, additional terms may apply depending on the scope of work.
Installation requirements, site conditions, access requirements and additional charges will be communicated where applicable.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that TechCube’s engineers have reasonable access to the relevant premises at the agreed time.
If additional work is required because of circumstances that could not reasonably have been identified before installation, we will discuss the additional requirements and any applicable charges with you before carrying out such work, where practicable.
18. CCTV, Alarm and Security Equipment
Security products such as CCTV cameras, recording equipment, alarms and access-control systems may require appropriate installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that their use of security equipment complies with applicable laws and regulations, including requirements relating to privacy, data protection, surveillance and recording.
TechCube does not guarantee that any security product will prevent theft, intrusion, loss, damage or other criminal activity.
Security equipment is designed to reduce risk and provide monitoring or detection capabilities; it cannot guarantee complete protection against every security event.
19. EPOS Systems and Software
Certain EPOS products may depend on third-party software, cloud services, licences, subscriptions, internet connectivity or manufacturer services.
Where this is the case, availability and functionality may be subject to the relevant manufacturer’s or software provider’s terms.
TechCube cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.
20. Availability of Products
We aim to keep product availability information accurate.
If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you where reasonably possible and may offer:
- An alternative product;
- A revised delivery date; or
- A full refund.
21. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, product information, designs, page layouts and other materials, is owned by or licensed to TechCube or its relevant third-party suppliers.
You may view and use the website for your personal or legitimate business purchasing purposes.
You must not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, publish, sell or commercially exploit website content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
22. Website Availability
We aim to keep the website available and functioning correctly, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or free from technical errors.
We may temporarily suspend or restrict access to the website for maintenance, security, upgrades or other operational reasons.
23. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, manufacturers, payment providers or other services.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of third-party websites.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and conditions.
24. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to the above, TechCube will not be responsible for losses that:
- Were not reasonably foreseeable;
- Were not caused by our breach of these Terms & Conditions; or
- Relate to business losses where the purchase was made for purposes outside the scope of consumer protection legislation, except where otherwise required by law.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
25. Events Outside Our Control
We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to:
- Severe weather;
- Floods;
- Fire;
- Natural disasters;
- War or civil unrest;
- Government action;
- Industrial disputes;
- Transport disruption;
- Supply-chain disruption;
- Manufacturer delays;
- Internet or telecommunications failures; or
- Major technical failures.
Where reasonably possible, we will notify you of significant delays and take reasonable steps to minimise their impact.
26. Privacy and Data Protection
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Information provided during checkout may be shared with payment processors, delivery companies and other service providers where necessary to process and fulfil your order.
Payment providers such as Klarna may process your personal information independently in accordance with their own privacy notices and terms.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information about how we collect, use and protect personal information.
27. Marketing Communications
If you subscribe to our marketing communications, we may send you information about products, offers, promotions and security-related content.
You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in our emails.
Transactional communications relating to orders, payments, deliveries, refunds or customer service may still be sent where necessary.
28. Complaints
If you have a complaint about a product, order, delivery or service, please contact us first so that we can investigate the matter.
Email: info@techcube.co.uk
Telephone: +44 (0) 20 7946 0958
Please include your order number and a description of the issue where applicable.
We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints promptly and fairly.
29. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version applicable to your purchase will be the version in force when you place your order, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
The latest version will be made available on this website.
30. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection legislation provides otherwise.
If you are a consumer, you will retain any rights you have under applicable UK consumer protection law, including any rights that allow you to bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK in which you live.
31. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as removed to the extent necessary, while the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
32. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with the applicable product information, order confirmation, Privacy Policy, Returns Policy and any other terms expressly incorporated into the purchase contract, form the agreement between you and TechCube in relation to your purchase.
